The Providence game looked like it might be Chris' coming out party, but today showed that he's still a work in progress.  Whenever he got the ball, he didn't seem to want it, and he seemed confused trying to figure out where he could pass it too.  He's made strides this year, but he still needs time before he can he can be a factor consistently.  Also, he got caught sleeping when Thomas got behind him for a dunk on a long pass late in the game.

On the other hand, I thought that Junior showed more evidence of sustaining the growth that he showed against Providence in this game.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Fred Garvin

Vander seemed to play pretty well tonight also.

Except for his Achilles heel, shooting.

I agree on both your points. Until Otule does what he did against Providence versus an elite lelvel Big East big than you can't trust him to be one of the focal points of your offense against good teams. Still, he's made huge strides though.

Loved Vander's energy, but he clearly has zero confidence in his shot. He was running to rebound his baseline 3 attempt before it had even left his hands. That will be an off-season project.

I expect inconsistency from Otule, this is his first year starting, and he is still raw offensivley and defensivley.  He has however made enormous strides this year and I expect him to be a force next year, perhaps 8pts and 8 rebs a game?

Cadugan sucks ass. I thought EWill played great in his 2 min. opportunity.

You mean how he kept us in the game entirely by himself for 3-4 possessions in a row at the end of the game? Yeah that sucked.

4everwarriors

Yeah, like 3 turnovers, 2 assists, and 0-2 from the free throw line in 23 min. Pretty lousy for a point guard.

Dude,  its almost 9 am, and you still haven't shown up at the tent with coffee and donuts.  If you don't come by soon, I am NOT holding a place for you at my table at Dave and Buster's tonight!

Haha. Are you goint to Dave and Buster's tonight for real? I was kind of trying to see if I could get some of my MU buddies to go.
