Tomorrow, before our game, Cincy hosts Uconn and something gives here.  Either Cincy loses and becomes the 6th team with 7 losses or Uconn becomes the first of the 11 expected to make the tourney with 8 losses.

Does the parity in the Big East start to limit the number of bids we get?  I mean, pretty much any of those teams passes the 'eyeball test' of being in the tourney, but do committee members start looking at a bunch of 8 loss teams and go 'maybe they're all just not that good' like we tend to do with the B1(2)0?

The difference is the BE has pretty much destroyed all the good teams in their non-conference schedule.

So before other conference fans start screaming that Uconn sucks, they need to be reminded that Uconn beat the best of the SEC (Kentucky and Tenn) the Big12 (at Texas) and Michigan State when everyone thought they were the best in the B10.

Good point, I didn't think about it that way.  The polls clearly agree with 8 BEast teams in the top 25.  Frankly, with the ACC only having 2-3 legit teams, the SEC with 2-3 legit teams, and PAC 10 with only 2 legit teams, 11 out of the Big East seems really reasonable.  I'd take Marquette, Cincy, and West Virginia (9 thru 11 in the BEast) on a neutral court against any team outside of the top 3 in their conference any day.

That last part is just flat wrong. On all accounts. You are saying we need to win the last 3 to finish 11-7 and that wont be enough? We need to go 11-7 and win 1 game in BET and that might be enough?
