What a win! Thought we were dead at 41-49.

The best thing about this win is that we beat a quality team on the road and played very poorly for long stretches.  We can be better.  First time I've seen them live this year.

Junior's 3 was the key basket of the game.

Frustrating to watch DJO disappear for huge stretches, but he was a monster in OT.  Everybody played well, nobody particularly great.

Otule really makes a huge difference on D.

I guess I hadn't realized watching on TV.  Does Buzz always stand in the middle of the court like that?
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

I only watch on TV, and he does it far too often.  Surprised he's only been warned about it a couple times.

Agreed. How does he get away with it? But from many games I have seen, lots of coaches do it. Check out Boewhine and Pitino sometime.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

I'd be on the court, too, if the ref's kept allowing the opposing team to deflect the ball away upcourt after every made basket.  What was up with that?  Did anyone else notice it?
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Every time a shot went up the UConn bigs had their hands in the net to poke the ball.  I've never seen anything like it.

Everyone has been quick to jump on DJO for showing up late, and he was bad for much of the game, but as good as Jimmy Butler was in the first half, he was equally bad in the second. Between the two of them, they seemed to out a complete game together.

Otule had two huge baskets in a row when it looked like we were cooked as well. One on a nice putback. Huge plays in turning the game around.

I kind of agree with this...Jae could have been better offensively...but I think that was our best game of the year, collectively. And yet we still shot horribly. If we can put together some games where DJO, Butler and Crowder are all playing well offensively and you throw in Otule staying out of foul trouble and a low turnover game from Buycks, we can beat some very good teams.

It sure seemed like that. And what about Fulce--two times down the floor, he almost slapped the ball into their basket? Almost had a heart attack.

Didn't shoot well, but 7 offensive boards was awesome. I don't remember the last time a warrior got 7 offensive rebounds.

I saw Jae as a beast on the Offensive boards. JF was a presence on the glass as well but those slap backs had me gasping
