If mu can finally pull out the big upset at uconn thursday, then mu would project to be 7th place by sunday:
7. Mu 9-7 (with tiebreaker)
8. Wvu 9-7
9. Cimncy 9-7
10. Syracuse 9-8
11. Uconn 8-8

If mu wins out to finish 11-7, they could mathematically finish 2nd in the big east behind pitt. This would enatil winning the tie-breaker over an 11-7 syracuse team, with 8 teams finishing 10-8 (nd, gtown, nova,lville, stj, wvu,cincy and uconn.

Won't happen obviously, but point is an upset of uconn and we could finish much higher than our current 11th.

Something really good is going to happen to this team, it's just a matter of when. We've had too many crushing losses why not a euphoric win and why not on Thursday night? We know we can shut down Kemba Walker. We just need to execute offensively and our bigs have come up big as of late so hopefully they can neutralize their trees and give us a little production in the low post. We are in desperation mode, hopefully that shows on the court come Thursday.
