I was really saddened to hear the boos. I have been to many games and seen so much worse on this court. I understand being upset...but this does noone any good. Any recruits in the house will be turned off. Say one or two players are dragging, does this help them out? What about the guys that are busting their butts. What does this do for them?

I really think that three of our four guards had bad or real bad games last night and it hurt the team tremendously. We are not used to that happening and I hope it does not happen again...but the whole team should not be thrown under the bus. For that matter, the ones that had the bad game need to bounce back. How is this helping?

I had 10 kids from my son's basketball team at the game last night and they could not believe they were hearing boos.

I know it was a very few people that were booing, but their big mouths and lack of brains resonate when the game goes that way.

I heard the boos on TV and while I understand them based on the way we were playing, it shouldn't be done.  Forgetting for a moment the untowardness of adults booing kids in their late teens and early 20s who routinely give their best effort, from a practical standpoint booing kids of that age is counterproductive as it serves as a de-motivator rather than a motivator, not to mention as some other posters have the potential impact that booing could have on perspective players who may be in attendance or watching.

Making yourself feel a little better at the expense of the greater good is just not too smart.

Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

I hated to hear the booing but the 1994 sweet 16 team was booed early in their careers. Its not the end of the world.  These guys will get plenty of cheers in future days.

Do hope they shrug off this 3-game slump though so the seniors can go to the dance.
