With a W tonight, it will be our second best start since we've joined the Big East.

Anybody know what the "line" is?
The "average fan" is an idiot.

Marquette is -4.5.

Over/Under is 140.

Over looks like a real safe bet.

With a very narrow margin for error in terms of making the tournament, I think the next three games are critical for MU. If they can find a way to win 2 of them, it will put them in pretty decent shape. They are likely to end up with a losing (BE) record for much of January and February. Even though I fully expect them to continue to improve, if they start out 1-3 vs. 3-1 or even 2-2, I'm not sure I see them getting back above .500 by season's end.

'Bout that over bet...

If MU would have hit any one of their 6 missed free throws down the stretch -or if Rutgers would have hit any one of their late fts... God damn it.
