Perhaps Eamonn Brennan of ESPN thinks so. He was discussing Gonzaga in the below article and he states that "The Zags have been battered and bloodied by their brutal non-league schedule, going 5-5 in their first 10 games and losing to basically every competent opponent they have played."

Ouch.

Well, since our best win to date is against UWM and after tomorrow's game our next win will probably come four or six games into our Big East schedule, I would say, that's about right.

I wouldn't take Brennan too seriously, despite ESPN's willingness to give him a space.

I think we beat WVU at home and Rutgers on the road to start 2-0.  Both will be tough games but believe we should and NEED to win both those games if MU has plans on the NCAAs this year.

Boo! Come on, Chicos, where's the negativity? Where are the jabs at Buzz? Where's the subtle Newbill reference? You predicting MU to win games is no fun. Oh wait, I bet you're just saying that so you can rip the team if they lose. That's right! I'm on to you, smart guy!  ;)

LOL.  Well, that's the irony of it all to begin with.  I rarely take jabs at Buzz but because I have from time to time, some posters think it happens the "vast majority" of the time.  Oh well.
