Bad vs. Good at this point in season
« on: November 27, 2010, 10:44:06 PM »
The Good
Good transitioning from defense to offense
Good at causing turnovers
Don't put teams on the line (very little fouls and foul trouble in general)
Balanced offense

The Bad
Three point defense not good
Limited number of consistent three point shooters on offense
Free Throw Shooting not so good overall
Terrible defensive rebounding team

I think of the bad some it is going to continue as it is part of player limitations.  However I think we can and MUST get better at rebounding and our three point defense.

- DJO 10-14 from field, 4-4 from the line, 29 points.
- Butler 7-8 from line
- MU 13-16 from line
- Buycks 5 reb, 6 assists, 5 steals (was surprised to see this cause it seemed like he played terrible)

- shot 51.9% from field, 42% from 3
- MU had 21 points off turnovers
-

Bad
- Junior, JFB, Buycks each had 3 turnovers.
- Blue only had 1 rebound and 1 assist in 20 minutes.
- JFB only 2 rebounds, 3-9 from the floor
- Outrebounded 34-22
- UW-M shot 50.8% from field and 44.4% from 3
- Hill had 18 and 8
- They only shot 6 free throws.  Again back to the scared to foul thing.

Forgot this...

Junior only had 2 assists in 30 minutes, along with the 3 turnovers.  The last of which was awful (somewhere around a minute or two to go in the game), throwing it away at the top of the key toward Crowder who was not expecting a pass.
