Well, the pissing contest got started early.

I liked what I saw out of Junior today. While I don't credit the entire comeback to him" running the game," the team appeared to run smoother with him at the helm. I believe that this is the guy Buzz believes will run the team come conference time, but as it has been said frequently: Buzz wants him to prove it.

I think we can all agree that Buycks is looking more suited to a role as a SG so far with his "create a shot" mentality. That being said, it is nice to see Buycks gettig meaningful minutes at the PG slot so the team has a reliable guy to take over when Junior needs a breather.

I don't know Junior personally at all and thus i could be way off base here, but he has kinda struck me as a kid that can hang his head quicker when he plays poorly. Say he comes in and turns the ball over a few times in a short time frame, it would effect his game afterward while some kids can brush that stuff easier.

If i'm right and not completely assuming something untrue out of my backside, i hope some successes in the non-conference schedule can propel Junior into confidently being our main PG once the Big East part of the schedule starts.

Like I said before, I don't like Buycks at point. He should play the two and I hope JC can play the PG.

I think this team will ultimately be at their best with the three guard lineup.  With Buycks backing up Clue and DJO on the wings.  But until Smith or Juniotr take the PG spot away it is Buycks to keep.  if junior continues to play well it will be his, i dont think Reggie is ready to be the top PG yet, still real loose with the handle.
