Does anyone else think this is going too far? It seems to me that "inexperienced drinkers" are more to blame, ahem personal responsibility, than 4 Loko.

I think it's very appropriate.  The stuff is dangerous.  ZFB drank half a can last week, took his shirt off and started making out with some random guy outside of the Rescue Mission.

Someone really was hospitalized with a .12?! 

The reality is that it's already illegal to sell the stuff to 17 to 19 year olds... there are already laws against it.  If someone is going to break the law they can deal with the consequences... Lord knows some of us have.  No need to ban a particular product.

Captain and I don't get along, but I hate UV Blue too.

As for the 4 lokos, I'm not one for government overreach or any of that bullshit but I used to drink sparks and that crap will unnatural carnal knowledge you up if you drink too many. Can see why government will ban it because of the caffeine alcohol mix, but It should probably be banned because of the taste.
