Last Californian at MU

Chicos posted that Mr. Anderson is the first one from Cal in a long time.

I think he is right. The last one I remember was MiKe Davis from Chico, Cal? Another one was Terry "hair" Reason from I think Fresno.

Anybody else that people recall?

David Boone was the last Californian as a transfer.  Terry Reason was the last HS recruit.

Yes, Yes, Yes, --- I think we have a potentially better recruit then Boone and Reason. Boone was a good player, Reason couldn't handle the ball nor shoot and was regarded as a high profile player coming to MU. Welcome JUAN ANDERSON to BUZZ BALL.

David Boone.  Man that guy could rebound.  Only 6'6" but he had elevator arms.

Boone was a transfer from St. Mary's, not an HS recruit.  He was also a total stud.  If this kid ends up being as productive as David Boone we will all be happy.

Terry Reason should have been a superstar, but Majerus was a total mess as a head coach at MU and really screwed the kid up.  He also really f'd up with Dwayne Johnson.  Rick did not become a genius till Ball State.

I loved Dwayne Johnson, named my first dog DJ, but his lack of development also had to do with his off court activities not just Majerus.  Terry Reason sure had the hair.

It's great to see some of my home state's influence on my school's program. The fact that Anderson is a top recruit and a class guy helps too.
