Durand Johnson to Pitt

A guy whose final 5 we were in, Durand Johnson, goes to a Big East Rival. He is a big-time shooter and at 6'7 he would have added a new dimension to the roster. I thought he would've been a good backup plan to Faust.

I'm itching for a new recruit.

We weren't a serious option for this prospect. Pitt was always the choice.

Not so sure I agree with this. If we have too many players at the 2/3, why would we still be high on the lists of many of the top swingmen in the nation? Why would he have considered us all summer? Also, last time I checked, we don't have any 6'7  2-guards on the roster. Thats a mismatch any night. I think his shooting would have been a huge plus for us.

But I don't think he ever visited us -- whereas I believe he visited most, if not all, of the others on his list.
