If Jimmy gets to the league next year (yes, I know all of the things he needs to improve.   It is summer and we need to talk about something) and/or DJO improves enough to leave early, just imagine the affect that could POSSIBLY have on JPT.    He would get to stay close to home and play for a coach that has put 3/4 guys in the league.    He would get to play for a coach that features athletic wings from Wisconsin.  Yeah, I know the other coach Williams has the inside track.   But still, Buzz could make a compelling case.

Okay, its summer, but I'm going to worry about Dawson, Faust and Thompson before I move on to JPT.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

A history of consistently putting players into the NBA cannot hurt.  Particularly guys like Wes and Lazar, and maybe DJO and Jimmy, who were never sure things to go to the league.  If anything most of these guys at age 17 were probably not projected NBA players.  Maybe some thought Wes was, but thats it.

Tokoto will also have to look and likely see a team that can really make a run with him on it.  It's not like he is going to show up and be a savior for Milwaukee and Marquette.  He would step into a good team where he could show up and be the difference in something special.

Wow, where did all this talk of DJO skipping a year of eligibility come from? I see that as extremely unlikely, given how far his game needs to improve to even enter the discussion after he graduates (judging from the last time I saw him play a real game). His "guard skills" need massive improvement to play in the NBA, especially at 6-2.

Well I do not buy the math....there is no way a Jimmy Butler divided by a D. Johnson-Odom is greater than a JPT.

I dont know if this has been dicussed as of late or at all, but I just check where JP is interested on ESPN.com ( http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/tracker/player?recruitId=67469&season=2012&action=login&appRedirect=http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/tracker/player%3frecruitId%3d67469%26season%3d2012 ) and Marquette is now taken off his list of interest as it once was. Anyone?

Also, there is nothing of Nick Faust.

ESPN.com's recruiting page is equivalent to the National Enquirer.  Sure, there may be some truth to what's being reported, but nobody takes it seriously.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
