Any basketball coaches out there
« on: July 10, 2010, 04:52:41 PM »
Hey guys,

I have a buddy that is starting a basketball team at this charter high school in Chicago.  He needs advice with pretty much everything like X's and O's and meeting more coaches in the area.  Anyone willing to contact (email or whatever) my buddy so that he can get some advice.  Thanks.

Erick

If this is his first stint coaching anything, there is a "basketball coaching for dummies" book out there to help him with things like how to run a practice.    Also, I recommend just cold-calling some coaches in the area coaching at approximately the same level, explain his situation, and then listen.
