Mr. Nielsen

I'm  getting sick about hearing about DJ Newbill. People are so worried about a young man who hasn't played one game at MU. He is a big boy and will be fine.

Some got on Buzz's case for not signing a big man and now he has in 6'7 Jamil Wilson. Bottomline it's all about winning and Wilson makes that happen for MU more than Newbill does.
If we are all thinking alike, we're not thinking at all. It's OK to disagree. Just don't be disagreeable.

Their are a lot of people posting here that are not ready for the real world.  They want to live in their naive realty where tough choices are never made.

I've been fired and I've fired people.  Sure its not pretty but often it is for the best.  Had a "Buzz to prison" poster been my boss and afraid to fire me, it would have ruined my life.  It forced a change for the better.  Some of the people I have fired have gone on to better things than our organization could have offered them.

Newbill is a talented and smart kid.  He has offers and will be just fine.  It's understandable that he is hurt and angry.  Even if it is for the best, no one likes to be fired (or do the firing).  It is an unpleasant realty of dividing up limited resources (13 schollies).  But this will pass and be a good life lesson for all ... especially for the naive posters here.

I don't post much on here but in my opinion DJ Newbill was and probably never will be able to play on this level. It is best for him to look at a mid major as a better choice for his college career.

How can we in good conscience move on when DJ Newbill can never move on?
I case you forgot, his life is in ruins.  ::)

I'll start another thread on DJ tomorrow to remind people that we should be moving on....seems this subject will never die.
