Here ya go, not much new.

As we reported June 30, Jamil Wilson has been released from his scholarship at Oregon and will return to his home state to play for Marquette. The other shoe dropped later that same day, as the Golden Eagles announced that recruit D.J. Newbill would leave the program just two months after signing his NLI. Newbill was rated the nation's 194th-best shooting guard by ESPNU's Scouts, Inc.

Marquette coach Buzz Williams gave no reasons for Newbill's untimely departure, telling the Wisconsin Sentinel-Journal "Through a culmination of several things, we have decided to give D.J. Newbill his release. D.J.'s a great kid, he comes from a great family who we have established relationships with, and we're going to do everything we can to help him in his future, in whatever capacity that would be."

Wilson, who was recruited by Williams out of Racine Horlick High School, will have to sit out his transfer year, but will be a welcome addition to the rotation at the three-spot in 2011. ESPNU 100 small forward Jamail Jones will likely be the starter by then, but Wilson's knack for grabbing timely rebounds should make him an attractive option in relief.

Wilson will also have to battle JuCo transfer Jae Crowder for minutes, but the chance to return home and play in the Big East was a no-brainer.

ESPN Insider  knows nothing about and adds nothing to our program.
They just spew out what they get from the Milwaukee Sentinel!! They rarely have anything about MU and all the player ratings are dated.
