If I remember correctly, Lazar was not on this list before.  Now, he is right on the cusp of being in the top 60.

He needs a picture!

T-Bone

I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

bilsu

I really expect him to go 35 to 45.

HoopsMalone

I was gonna put this in teal, but game 5 of the Finals suggests otherwise.

The Lakers should dump Artest and draft Lazar at the end of the second round.  Start Odom and have Lazar and Walton back him.

Use that mid-level exception on a guard rather than Artest.

Chad Ford's guess is as good as anyone's

tckmu24

He's #53 now...moving up by the minute!

I'd accuse you of being Larry Harris, but you didn't say the Lakers should pay Walton $7m.

I hope he gets picked...but I fear that NBA GM's will make a run at taking random European players at the end of the 2nd round.

Director of Scouting for the Bucks says there's "no doubt" that Lazar will get drafted

Can we read that as "we've got him in the top 50 and we're taking him if he's the best available when we pick"?

If we could read it as that, we'd have at least one more player in the league right now. I believe Jerel was given very similar indications throughout his workout process.

Blackhat

If he shows he can move his feet well enough and hit that outside shot, he'll get close to late first/early second value.

MuCam is correct. These same words were spoken of Jerel. GM's comments are the equivalent of coachspeak. What they supposed to say when interviewed, especially about a hometown player, "he sucked ass in our workout?"
Believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you read.

Jerel McNeal was also ranked #62 by Chad Ford. Let's hope Lazar's rookie season in pro ball goes better than Jerel's did.
