Who is Jay Copeland?  He was the second best player on Davante's team this year.  Today - I think the article on his commitment wasn't very specific - Jay committed to Ball State.  No big surprise.  The interesting thing is that back on April 11, the Saint Petersburg Times had this to say about the timing on Davante's decision: "...Gardner might wait until late this week to decide, as his teammate and friend, Jay Copeland, is visiting Ball State on Thursday and the two had wanted to announce their college decisions at the same time."

This would seem to provide more evidence that Davante's options are dependent on some as of yet unknown test score or grades.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Luke Cothron?

Luke and I just had dinner together tonight, but he stayed tight lipped about his plans.
