Draft bet

Yesterday I bet my friend 50 bucks Lazar was going to be drafted before Illinois guard Demitri McCamey. Like most IlliNI(T) fans, they talk very highly of their ball club so I had to do it. "My friend" project McCamey going late first round, psh. I didn't even see this guy declaring, especially with the great class coming in. I know the key word is cash here but how well does Europe pay you? I hope Lazar can find a spot and position before this guy can. I hate Illinois, and its where I live. Tell me if I got this in the bag.

Neither will be drafted. McCamey didn't hire an agent and he should (and I think will) go back to school.

My interpretation is that jwalsh better be ready to pay if neither gets drafted.  If the bet is "Yesterday I bet my friend 50 bucks Lazar was going to be drafted before Illinois guard Demitri McCamey."
Thus, if neither gets drafted, then Lazar did not get drafted "before" McCamey.  You buddy may have the better hand here, unless Lazar in fact (1) gets drafted and (2) is drafted before McCamey.

 I personally think that Lazar will get drafted somewhere in the second round, and from what I have heard, it soulds like McCamey is going back to school because he has not signed with an agent.   I think this is a safe bet that you will probably win.

Yea.... I said he would get drafted (Zar) meaning if he doesn't I'm in trouble. I hope I'm right with D Wade or "flash" that he will go drafted as last year showed us anything can happen. However, I am not concerned McCamey will go before.

On another note. Was there any hope for Jerel hooking up with an NBA team for next year before his stupid doing?

I doubt it.  He wasn't playing very well.  Not shooting well...too many turnovers.

Although DJ has put together a pretty good year in Turkey.  I still think he can hang on as a back up PG eventually.
