He's tearing it up...23 points.  Lazar is on fire.  About 18 minutes to play in the 2nd half.

The game is on CBS College Sports TV.

Damn. Im pissed I missed that much of it. Is he the leading scorer?

Lazar is easily the leading scorer.  He can't miss from 3.

Anyone know if this is streaming somewhere, or of a live box score or anything?
"I don't give a damn if he can't do nothing else. He can shoot, and I love the way he shoots. I don't care if he can't dribble, can't rebound, can't play defense... that kid can shoot the ball." - Tracy McGrady on Steve Novak

I've been searching and I can't find a thing.  I would be really happy with a box score.

you guys dont have CBS tv?

No, I have the basic digital cable bundle through TWC.  I think that channel is a part of the next tier.

Anyone find a boxscore for the game?

From the news briefs from the AP Lazar's team lost while he ended up with 23 points and 7 rebounds.

So he had 23 points with 18 minutes to play and finished with 23 points...I really hope there was foul trouble or something that kept him out of the game if they held him scoreless over the last 18 minutes...

Regardless, he clearly put on a good showing...

PGsHeroes32

No they just got everyone playing time. Zar sat from 18 min until about 7 min. Chris Kramer was on him late in the game so he was certainly respected.

Does lighting it up in this allstar game help Lazar's draft stock at all?

oshkoshbgosh

Lazar's hometown paper, the urinal-sentinel, must not of found it on TV either. Not a mention on their web site this morning.

The fact is, he played great. Hope the scouts were watching.

I was there - it was awesome. After the game, some young boys were yelling his name, and he threw his headband to them. They were very excited. Wish I would have gotten it!

Hayward fares well in all-star game

Lazar Hayward scored a game-high 23 points and knocked down 5 three-pointers in a 106-101 loss in the Reese's College Senior All-Star Game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Friday.

CBS college sports TV reran it at 1:00 am today and I was able to dvr it.  I wouldn't be surprised if they showed it again some time this weekend.

The dunk contest is on again right now.  It seems like our guys favor the baby blues.  If memory serves,  the seniors last year got to vote on the jerseys for one of the games and picked the baby blue's and here is Lazar obviously wearing his favorite jersey.  MU should wear them more.....and change the font to arched cursive.

TallTitan34

Wes also wore the baby blues in the dunk contest last season.

Lazar stood out in the Babay Blues and headband. definitely the class outfit of the bunch

jesmu84

random question: after playing head to head so many times over several years, do you think lazar enjoyed playing with scottie reynolds? vice versa?
