Also has offers from Wisconsin and Illinois. At least that's what it says here:

http://www.chicagohoops.com/articles1/henrymarquette.html

Red-hot Class of 2011 Chicago Orr star Mycheal Henry has now picked up a Big East scholarship offer from Marquette University. Henry rates as one of the top Class of 2011 prospects in the state of Illinois.

Henry, a 6'6" guard/forward, is as hot as any prospect in the 2011 class, and is seeing his recruiting stock skyrocket. Henry is coming off of a superb junior season at Chicago Orr, and was also very good last weekend with the Rising Stars at the ChicagoHoops.com Spring Tip-Off Classic.

Henry, who will move into the #3 slot when the ChicagoHoops.com 2011 rankings are updated in the next few days, was pleased with the Marquette offer, and is happy to see his hard work on the basketball court starting to pay off. Henry has also recently picked up Big 10 scholarship offers from Illinois and Wisconsin.

Henry is a part of a loaded Illinois Class of 2011 that is also headlined by the likes of Wayne Blackshear (Chicago Morgan Park), Sam Thompson (Chicago Whitney Young), Chasson Randle (Rock Island), Mike Shaw (Chicago De La Salle), Bruce Barron (Brehm Prep), Ryan Boatright (East Aurora), Tracey Abrams (Chicago Mount Carmel), George Marshall (Chicago Brooks), Nnanna Egwu (Chicago St. Ignatius), Roosevelt Jones (O'Fallon), Macari Brooks (Rich South) and Dre Henley (Brehm Prep).

Comments on need for a big in 3 .... 2 .... 1 ....

Edit: Bullseye also reporting it:

http://ilprepbullseye.com/page42.html

Mycheal Henry, the 6'6 wing forward from Orr High School in Chicago received a scholarship offer today courtesy of Marquette University.  The offer was confirmed to us by Phil Gibson, an assistant varsity boy's basketball coach at Orr.

Henry's offer from the Golden Eagles is his fourth from a high major program to date and his first from a Big East Conference school.  Earlier offers came from the University Of Wisconsin, University Of Illinois and Baylor University.  In addition, Henry is also being recruited by schools in the Missouri Valley, Atlantic Ten, Horizon League and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

As we have stated repeatedly, Henry enjoyed a spectacular junior season at Orr and has risen his stock as much as anybody in the state from the class of 2011.  We clearly believe that he is now a top five prospect in Illinois from that class.

Getting back to Marquette, the offer to Henry is just one more example of how head coach Buzz Williams and his staff continue to go all-out with their recruitment of players from the Chicago area and the state of Illinois.  The Golden Eagles are also heavily involved with 6'6 power forward James Siakam from Brehm Prep in Carbondale, IL, who recently reclassified to the class of 2010 and also remain in the picture with a number of other Illinois-based prospects in the class of 2011, including 6'7 forward Mike Shaw from De LaSalle Institute in Chicago; 6'6 Sam Thompson from Whitney Young High School in Chicago; 5'10 point guard Ryan Boatright from East Aurora High School in Aurora, IL and 6'5 forward Dre Henley, Siakam's teammate at Brehm.

Henry will be in action this weekend with his Rising Stars Gold traveling team at the Swish 'N Dish Spring Warmup sponsored by NY2LA sports.

Made the Chicago Sun-Times all-area team:

Mycheal Henry Orr, 6-5 junior F: Uncommitted. One of the most prolific scorers in the area, he averaged 27 points and eight rebounds. Helped establish Orr as a rising power in the city. Third team All-Public League selection. ''He was the second-best player in the city this season,'' Orr coach Lou Adams said.

Read as: "Wow, Marquette's just sticking it to DePaul here."

More so that Marquette is sticking it to U of Illinois.  No one cares about DePaul in Illinois.  People are very angry with Bruce Weber losing in state recruits.

He seems to be in a lot of them for the 2011 class, and had a good freshman class this year.

True enough, so let's just say that Marquette is sticking it to Illinois, and would be sticking it to DePaul, if only DePaul were relevant.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
