He shares minutes with some of the biggest idiots I have ever seen. Millsap and Miles are absolute garbage while Wes is efficient and plays great d. Every game I watch Wes is wide open in the corner with a chance to shoot or drive and those two idiots throw up terrible shots. The Jazz are getting worked right now but Wes is efending Kobe well and making great passes and would have 5 assists already if Boozer didnt do some pre game boozing.

Wes is playing really well. He's hit a jumper, a 3-pointer, had a great assist to Okur, and has really contested Kobe's shots well so far in the 1st quarter. It's pretty amazing seeing him on the court right now in L.A. on such a large stage starting against the Los Angeles Lakers. What an accomplishment for Wesley. Unreal to say the least.

He's usually pretty wide open!

The Lakers have got it rollin' again and are stomping on the Jazz so far, but like you said, Wes is playing good defense, as good as you can against Kobe.  I'm really proud of him, because even if Kobe lights him up for 40 or so, I never thought he would be the first person a team threw at Kobe.  I was always confident he would make it on an NBA roster, but starting exceeded my expectations, and I NEVER thought he'd be the one tasked with guarding Kobe.

Yeah Sloan loves his d but so many times Wes starts the game, plays all 12 minutes in the 1st quarter but only plays like 14 the rest of the game, and I dont get why. Hes efficient on offense and their best defender. Kobe has 8 pts and only 2 or 4 are with wes on him. Its actually frusterating because Wes has been doing so well and just needs to be given the ball more.

One positive was the other day when they thrashed the warriors, Wes sat for the whole 4th qtr with Wiliams and Boozer, so he was in good company getting the blow out rest.

Miles tries to do everything.

Price is another idiot. But Wes is 3-3 for 8 pts cant complain, just give him some looks.

Wes (guess he doesnt wanna be called wes but im already too used to it) is doing an excellent job playing within his means. He is defending admirably and making open shots

Nice little run to get back into it by the Jazz... the Lakers were hot in the early going

If you start to feel bad for wes, just think about DJ and Jerel in europe  :o

Spaniel with a Short Tail

Wes is doing well.  I agree about Miles, but Boozer is a good player.  How come we can't get a big like him!?!

PGsHeroes32

I definitly wasnt saying boozer is bad, and yes I would love to have him. The announcers have been talking up Wes defensive effort all night on Kobe

I don't like Miles or Korver, but when those two are streaky, they're on fire.

Give Wes a year or two to truly surpass them in overall skills. He deserves more opportunities!

Ha, kinda funny when they were talking about Wesley's salary compared to Kobes and how he said he'd be happy making a third of that someday. If he keeps working like he is now he'll be up there in a few years. I however wouldn't mind Wes' paycheck.
