As I recall from previous NCAA games at the BC, the court was the "Marquette" floor, insofar as the colors and logos.  On JSOnline.com, they show the floor for tomorrow's games and it is a generic NCAA court (i.e., no MU reference).  That's too bad, as I always thought it was good advertising for MU...

The school can put two logos on the court if it wishes.

I understand the generic floor when it's a school hosting in a building they don't actually play in, but why can't the BC use Marquette's floor, Carrier Dome use Syracuse's floor, etc?

It adds fun color and flavor to the tournament.

That used to be part of the fun of the tournament, but the past couple/few years, the NCAA has gone with this "standardized" floor, which I think sucks.  Another reason it sucks is that you have  NO IDEA where the game is being played.  Yes, I know the city is in text on the baseline, but still tough to identify with the location.

Well, that I get.  The NCAA has its own sponsors.  But part of the fun of the old highlights is being able to tell where the game was just by looking at it because of the floor.
