•  In the 6-11 matchups, only one squad has the Cinderella qualities we cited in Anatomy of an Upset. The Washington Huskies average more than 73 points per game and have an average scoring margin greater than seven points.

not sure if this has been posted, but I hope they take into account the scoring margin is against the PAC-10 opponents.

And they played a Va Tech like non conference schedule.

This is going to be a very difficult game.  Last year people were pooh poohing Utah State when some of us here were warning about that game and we won by 1 point after trailing with little over a minute to play.

The Pac Ten is down, but they are proud and have some talent.  This is going to be a tough game.  We ended our last game getting blown out, they ended by winning a conference championship.  They are flying high and the guys need to be prepared for a very tough game.

We didn't play a great OOC schedule, but it's not nearly as bad as you've made it in your last two posts. For comparison...

Virginia Tech OOC SOS: 317
Marquette OOC SOS: 158
Washington OOC SOS: 74

We played 6 opponents that finished in the top 100 in the RPI, and two of them were in the top 13, Georgetown (lost by 8) and Texas A&M (won by 9).

We played some serious cupcakes this year when we were not playing high majors.  That's what brings that number down.  We are trending up at the end since we are not playing as many 1,2, or 3 seeds towards the end of the year.
We did beat 2 seed Villanova, only to lose to 3 seed G-town the next day, however.

This could very easily be a loss for MU.

Also, those stats are not accurate either. I wouldn't put any stock into a report that can't do proper research. We average 79.8 ppg (12th in the NCAA) and have a scoring margin of about 10 points. Points per game doesn't mean much though because we play at such a high tempo.

Don't you think they will be?
