You can text 'Marquette' (or any other college team) to 44636.  It will give you real time score updates.  Perfect for that wedding scenario that won't allow you to get scores.

I've been using 4info (44636) and googl (46645) text messaging services for a while.  4info is best for sports scores (google doesn't usually even understand), but for weather, definitions, froogle lookups, and most others - google is the way to go.

Both are free, but 4info puts some short text ads in their replies.

Yeah...both are free.  I haven't come across any ads like the one's Rocky mentions.

Great service that is key those limited situations.  Although, there's nothing more painful than receiving a series of texts like:
