As crazy as it sounds, the way they are playing this may be good news for Notre Dame.

As much as I hate 'Gody and ND, it is never good to see someone sit on the bench for the end of a career, especially as good as his was.

You never want a college career to end like this.    Like it did for Travis.   That is why I was happy that DJ got to play in the last game, even if he barely contributed.   He has been a great player for them and it isn't fair.   On the other hand, I have never liked him and they do seem to be playing better without him right now.    Still going to be a tough game.   Good luck, Gody.    You were a great adversary.

I hated Harangody. But man would I love him to be on our team. He's like Laimbeer. Hate him...unless he's yours.

If he doesn't play when they are here that is still good news for MU regardless of how well ND has picked up the slack.  I think for many BE teams playing ND without him has not been as much of an advantage because their centers need someone they can match up with in order to play well.  That is not an issue for us because we don't have a center.  ND - Harangody is kind of playing like MU has had to all season so while its cool that they've overachieved in this period I think we are simply better at it than they are.

Would I be correct in saying that an MU win on Tuesday and an ND loss to UCONN on Wednesday locks up a 5th seed for MU in the BET?

Actually, just MU winning will do the job.  ND is 8-8 so the best they can get is 10-8.  A MU win gives us 11 wins.

And it would guarantee a No Worse Than 5th finish - with a chance to move up if WV or Pitt lose their last two.

Despite the way Notre Dame has been playing without him, this has to be a good thing for us.

If I remember right, in years past Harangody got his usual number of points against us but we were able to shut down the rest of the team and grab some wins.

Totally agree!  It will actually save us from guys in foul trouble and will save some wear and tear leaning on that big body of his!

Travis broke his hand by punching the floor in practice.  (Practice?  Not a game, not a game.  We talkin' about practice.)  Travis had no one to blame but himself and his stupidity.  For guys like Harangody and Hummel they were unfortunate injuries over which they had no control...

Sure? Try tripping over one of Crean's tackling dummies during practice in preparation for Cincinnati.

You really believe what they tell the public is what really happened?  And you think a guy who is a college level basketball player is just going to trip over a dummy laying on the floor?  Are you really that naive?  Please tell me, because I am dying to know, who your source is for this one...and please don't tell me the Journal Sentinel...
