To the folks that went to the Cuse-Nova game, did they give away the orange shirts? That whole stadium was orange. Impressive.

No shirt giveaway for that one, which makes it even more impressive.  Kinda embarrassing that MU fans (alums...) can't figure it out, but 34,616 in NY can.  muhoosier260 is right, the only giveaway was a small orange towel on everyone's seat.

are u sure?? I'm pretty sure I saw custom made tees for that game...
if not, that looks pretty bad on our part that we can't even get a gold out

I had the best seat I've ever had in the student section and the atmosphere was electric all night long. The fans that actually made it to the game were amazing. Even the alums got out of their crotchety, stuck-up "we're just going to sit here and clap" ways. There were plenty of alums who got up and shouted right at Pitino which I thought was great. As I said, the Students that got to the game realized the importance of it all and brought their A game.

Unfortunately there were plenty fellow students who did not recognize the importance of the game. In my opinion, if you spent the 100 bucks for season tickets then you NEEDED to go to this game. If you're not willing to go to the second to last game of the year against Pitino and the damned Cards in a fight for a spot in the field of 64(or 65 whatever) then you should give in your fan card and not buy tickets next year.

The Notre Dame game will be sold out. I can only hope that my fellow students don't let their Chicago loyalty get the best of them and wear green. I know we'll see some Irish fans in the Students, but I can only hope we get some A**HOLE chants from the students around them. I'm sick of playing second fiddle to that university. This is Lazar's night, not Touchdown Jesus'.

I'm planning on going to the game as early as possible. Like 8 AM and hope I see Buzz with some donuts. Also thinking of bringing a "Notre Who?" sign or possibly "Marquette Football > ND Football"

We were there and were not offered a shirt nor did we see anyone offered one.  We walked around campus beforehand and nearly everyone already had an orange shirt on of some type - many were the "me and 34,616 of my friends" shirt (which would add up to 34,617 wouldn't it?!).  We did see some guys holding shirts up for sale as we waited in line to get into the dome but that was about it.

Note also that while a lot of people had that shirt on, MANY had other ones on (several of the six overtime, several of just SU, and lots more types).

That is impressive. Apparently there is no great angst among alums about being the Orange, otherwise maybe only the women in the crowd may have complied with the "Orange Out".
