While I would prefer the 6 or 11 seeds, at this point I'll take anything over an 8-9 seed.

I would hate to have to face a #1 in the first weekend.  I can tolerate a #2.  Would be ecstatic to be in the #3 or #4 pod.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

i just dont want to face a 1 seed. Best case would be to keep moving up and get a 6 seed for the 3rd straight year, but none of the 2 seeds are all that scary. New Mexico and Purdue id like to face the most. We cant face Nova even though id love another crack. Kstate is probably the worst match up for us.

I know that this is life in college bball, but I really don't like that Xavier is a 6 and we are a 7...

Im still just happy to be in though.  Let's win a few more and get to the 5 or 6 seed if this is how things are really going to play out.

Also, interesting that in the last week of the season, Lunardi's 7 seed is on the bubble in his opinion.

At least he has the arrow going in the proper direction.

I'm surprised you haven't heard its a soft bubble.

Unless Georgetown goes further in the Big East Tournament, is there any reason at all to put them above us?  We'll have a better conference record (and thus finish) and almost (if not exactly) an identical overall record with them, and we won the only head-to-head game of the season with them.

And same goes for Xavier.  Their overall record isn't that much better than ours in a far inferior conference, and we blew them out head-to-head on a neutral court.

Georgetown has some very good wins on their resume (Duke, Pitt, Villanova, iirc).  That can really help a team's seed.
