This team deserves a wild, loud, standing ovation during intros on Tuesday...I'll be into it...how bout you?...and someone wake up the student section please.

Rocco

Should get the word out for a standing "O."  When could it be done, so that it wouldn't be expected?  May miss the point if it is done during intros?

I'm sure it will go just as well as the gold-out

edit: tried to post in teal, didnt work

MUUWUWM

I think a real loud long intro would be nice...actually the students are pretty good ...need more of the oldies to be into it....or right before the jump ball.

Any student with tickets who doesn't go shouldn't have tickets. Period.

If you care at all about b-ball, how could you miss this game?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I'm not as worried about the students Tuesday. How about the alumni? I don't want to hear any of them saying I'm too old for an 8:30 tip or I gotta work Wednesday.  ;)

No student or alumni is going to be more tired than our team.  Three straight road trips, three OT games, and they probably don't even get their usual "until midnight" to enjoy this one because of the quick turnaround.  They deserve to play in front of a sold out, packed, and loud BC (including the 80% that aren't students).  Maybe the late start even gives the alumni time to go home and change instead of wearing suits to the game.  As far as the students, mid-terms aren't until next week.  Late classes are also well over by 8:30.  A huge rival is in town.  There's no excuse not to be ready for this game.

And since we're heard it from members here, any alumni who tells another to sit down for cheering shouldn't have tickets either.

Students should have an "adopt an old guy" night and bring some of the alums in the middle of the student section. Maybe then they will understand how loud it really is.

I'm an old, season-ticking holding, alum, and I will be there screaming all game, no worries.  And btw, I drive up from Chicago for each game. . . so let's get the entire house rocking!

GO MARQUETTE!!!!

BrewCity83

The 8:30 start time gives us older alums ('83) and my bro ('84) time to go home, get outta the suits, and get back downtown for a couple hours of brewskis before the game.

We will be loud and on our feet behind the Loserville bench.

are you serious?  an 8:30 start to deter the students? back in the early 80's, that just gave us more time to start a buzz but miss a big game because of a late start?  turn in your MU cards kids.  time to let someone else take over.

Hey, all I know is that I saw a barely filled lower bowl of the student section for a 8pm start on ESPN2 against one our longest rivals.

Great idea. I don't know if they'll want to skip work to start waiting in line at 2:30 like I will be.
