Cuse vs Nova

I wanted to put it out there: Who are you cheering for?/ Who am I 'supposed' to cheer for?

Personally, I'd probably cheer for nova because if I had to choose a big east team besides MU to cheer for, I'd probably be Nova. I just could never stand douchendorf and Andy Rautins is playing is way into being one of the most hated players in the BE.

BUT, if there is an RPI or such reason to cheer for Cuse, I'd like to hear that case

I'm going for Nova because I hope they win the Big East for this reason alone:

If MU gets the 4 or 5 seed in the BE tourney, I would rather play Nova again in the Semis (if we make it) than play Cuse.  (I'm also hoping we get West Va in the quarters as opposed to Pitt).

Ditto Copious.  It is also  better for our RPI if Nova wins since we played them twice.  On a non-Marquette note, I also cheer for Nova whilst hating Syracuse.

Whoa!! I'm the complete opposite, I guess. Cuse is my second favorite team in the conference. Loved them in the mid-90's and always respected their history in the conference and their rivalries with UConn and GTown. Plus, I think the zone is a lot of fun to watch.

I went to a Syracuse game recently and my buddy who is a UConn fan was calling Rautins "The Situation."  I don't know why I didn't think of that.

Bad news, people.

The torch has passed from GMac to Devo to Rautins. Just about 15 minutes ago, Trevir Cooney announced he is going to Cuse. I saw him play AAU and I think he will be better than all of them. Can someone soperimpose a picture of Cooney in the one above? Also, interestingly, he chose cuse over nova...one day before the game.
