That articke makes it sound like seton hall or pitt.  I think he's been a pitt lean for a while.

MU in Miami

my limited understanding is that Pitt does not have a spot for him.  It will be interesting to see how things go.

I wonder how hard he is being recruited by MU right now.  I know there shouldn't be any guarantees, but he could get a huge amount of playing time at MU.  I hope the coaching staff is making that clear to him.

GOMU1104

JJ Moore may have trouble qualifying, so that would open up a spot.

Yes...the same JJ Moore that this board went crazy about when he didnt commit to MU.

They're looking for a one hour plane ride.  Milwaukee is a little more, not to mention, probably not a lot of direct flights.

Not worth it to look up every post, but when JJ Moore and Carson Derosiers eliminated MU, there was worry amongst fans as to where Buzz was going to go from there.

Wasn't the Iman Shumpert decision the highest number of people ever on scoop?

Anyone still mourning Crean's loss of Shumpert?

I believe it was. All of it had to do with MU finishing in the last three (?) schools he had to pick, and MU made it to the press conference.

As an aside...I can only wonder the reactions this board - and I - would have made to Dwyanr Wade's commitment. :)

He'd be starting for this team.  I think he's been injured this year, but didn't he drop 30 on UNC earlier?  I'd rather have him then Tyshawn.

He is a heck of a player. Not sure what you are talking about.

He may end up being a heck of a player but the his stats for this year aren't so hot...

Iman Shumpert (so) - 8.9 pts, 3.4 rebs, & 4.1 assts per game.  Shooting 30% from the field and 30% from the 3 pt line.

I'll take DJO & Jimmy!

That was also about 2 hours before Joe Fulce's commitment to MU was leaked.  So as soon as the board died down over Shumpert, it exploded AGAIN over Joe Fulce, as people were just melting down over how we just lost a five-star recruit and ended up with a Junior College player no one had ever heard of.  It almost seemed like a cruel kick below the belt that night, despite Joe's great JUCO rep.

As we've learned since, though, that "who the hell is this guy?" JUCO thing has worked pretty well under Buzz with DJO and Jimmy.  ;D
