And though I've had my share of rips on Mo and Coobs, it showed with the newbies: DJO and Buycks.

10 TOs and 35% FG% ain't gonna win this game despite Pitt having 4 more TOs, 2 more rebounds, 5 less steals, 7 less offensive rebounds...but ten more assists (19 to 9)?

Hey boys...remember that "margin"? It's thin for a reason.

Disappointed but we move on.

EDITED to show *some* appreciation for a Wisconsin loss.

EDIT #2: Have to be fair to the vets...Butler's missed three, Zar's mindfart, Mo's ill-advised three at the top with 1:00 or 1:30 left...spread the pain around here.

But one must think...how much of this was a bad scouting job by the assistant coach and as a result, MU couldn't get anything started? I guess I'm not sold on Scott. (He was the scout, I believe.)

Question:
How do dudes like EWill and Jr. get experience when one is clearly not ready for primetime and the other is auditioning for ER.

They can't really. Because the margin for error is thin.

As soon as EWill came in the game he gave up an easy basket. He is a defensive disaster.

So then, that begs the question:

Who saw what in his game, that made him a good fit, and hence, recruited, for this team?

Every MU player was a defensive disaster.  Why not try something, anything to get a spark?  Shake it up a little bit.

E Williams is not ready to play a lot of minutes.  I think we can all agree on that.  But does anyone *really* think that Fulce is any more ready?  He's putrid on the defensive end.

His offense.  E-Will became a ranked prospect because of superior offensive ability, especially the ability to hit perimeter shots.

Take it easy, he's a freshman.  Some guys are able to come in and contribute right away (3 amigos) while it takes other guys a little bit of time to develop and get their feet wet (Lovette, Amal).  I think EWill still has a lot of promise as he has decent size and seems to be fairly athletic, he just needs to learn to play the game a little better.
