Lazar and the Screen
« on: February 14, 2010, 11:30:39 PM »
Did anyone catch the screen/pick Lazar set in the backcourt.  The announcers talked about it but they did not show a replay nor could I catch it on any hitlights.

Was it just the opposing player not watching?

Put on a blindfold and run until you hit a wall. That's what it looked like.

The guy was trying to press Acker a little and turned to run up court and caught Zar's shoulder.  He then rolled around on the floor for a few seconds.

Your teammates are suppose to warn you about picks heading your way.  A USF communication brakedown.

Clean pick, too.   No additional shoulder action like the kid from Wiscy last year.   Lazar stood there and Mo ran his guy into him and the defender crumbled to the ground.

Definitely a clean screen.  Guy just ran into Zar who was stationary.  No moving pick involved.
