Brings back unforgotten memories. I was at all 5 tournament games in 1977 on the road to a championship. Actually have a string of the final game net as a souvenir. Keep it close to my heart.

Being a little older than most of you, growing up in Milwaukee with Al and the Warriors was great fun.

I can remember seeing Al on his cycle downtown, or on Capitol drive. He was a good man----even after he went to nbc and he was well compensated, he never left Milwaukee. Al with his guys Butch Lee, Bo Ellis,Dean the Dream, Gary Brell, George Thompson ect ect.

MU has a great hoops tradition---be proud of it.
