I believe this video is actually the 71/72 team. Chones didn't play on the 72/73 team as he left in February 1972 for the Nets on the day following MU's victory vs. Jacksonville at the Arena.

- Practices were MUCH looser. Very anti-Buzz (down to the minute)! LOL! Funny how Al kinda paired people up...and didn't know that kid from Waukesha's name!

That kid from Waukesha was walk on Dave Delsman I believe

How did our season end that year?

I believe there were about 5 games left before the Tournament. I think we lost the next 2 and then won out. Only 32 teams in the tourney back then. We won the sub-regional but lost the next game vs. IU in Nashville (Mid-East Regional).

There was another comment by Al in there that probably raised the eyebrows of a few folks, especially if you were a rival of Marquette.

Anyone catch that one...during practice he stated it.
