Didn't his statistical analysis say we might not lose the rest of the year?    We showed him!

Depends how you read it.  In one sense he said only one more loss, at Syracuse....at least on a percentage basis of looking at each game.

But then when you read the total wins and losses, he had us at 11-7 (which would mean 4 more losses going into last night).

According to his latest analysis (updated through Wed night), he has us going 19-11 and 10-8 in the Big East.  That includes only two more losses @ 'cuse and @ uconn.  Is it out of the realm of possibility that we hit that mark?  No, but I would say it's certainly improbable.  We've got at least another surprise loss or two coming this season.  I think the game of the year for us will be at home on 2/18 vs. Pitt.  We should be have a 6-6 conference record at that point and WHEN we win, it should give us a big boost before heading on the road for three games (cinci, st. johns, & seton hall) within a week.
