At this point the best play MU should run at the end of the game would be to spread the floor, and let DJO go to work.  I know his free throws have been shaky..but he is such a playmaker, and can break down anyone off the dribble - that he would virtually assure a teammate an open shot due to the help D his penetration would demand.  I see only 3 outcomes with this strategy:

1) He goes all the way to the glass/pulls up and scores (or misses but at least we get a shot off)
2) Creates an open look for a teammate
3) Gets fouled..and gets a chance to exercise his free throw demons (or add to them).

At very least, I could accept any of the 3 outcomes versus not getting any kind of shot off.  Plus it is kind of hard to screw up a clear out/isolation play..less margin for error.  We see this type of play a lot in the NBA, college b-ball at the end of quarters/halves...Thoughts?

I agree with your analysis.  DJO simply is the guy to go with at the end of a game.  Having Acker with the ball is fruitless as his size limits what he can do.
