"The Gantlet" -- or Gauntlet, as some would argue -- comes to a close on Saturday afternoon at Villanova.

Four top-15 teams to open the Big East season and a 1-2 mark to start off for the Marquette Golden Eagles, who now must try and knock off the No. 6 Wildcats in their on-campus venue, The Pavilion, where they haven't lost in more than two years (34 straight wins).

Everyone remembers Villanova's 74-72 victory at the Bradley Center last Saturday, a game which wound up being decided by Scottie Reynolds' clutch jumper with 18.1 seconds left and MU's inability over the final 4 minutes 11 seconds to knock down a field goal or its foul shots.
