Is anyone else concerned about the streak ending tonight?

Tonight has to be UWM's best shot at beating us for the next number of years.

If there is a small crowd tonight due to the snow, the few UWM fans that do show may be able to be heard.

Always concerned - 36 is a long streak and losing one basketball game on any given night is possible...

I'm not sure if your crystal ball is that good, but I don't know what future years will look like.  But, again, UWM is a d-1 school that has can win basketball games at this level on any given night.  If we win tonight I won't proclaim that, 'whew, we are out into the clear for a number of years now that we won this one!!!'.

If we lose tonight and someone says, 'well, we lost cause UWM fans were heard because of the snow', they should be kicked in the head.

Protect the streak, protect your house, handle business from beginning to end.

That would be their best chance.   ;)
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

Not worried, especially if Boyle is out.

They aren't very good. And unlike past years, they don't have any really good shooters. If MU defends well they'll win by 20+.

UWM has looked pedestrian all year, there is NO reason we should not win by 20+ tonight.  Not worried, it just bothers me that we're even playing this game.

The promise of 18,000 people and all the other complete BS from years ago was just that...BS....as many of us said back then.

Fran, Michael Hunt, Dale Hoffmann, Bud Haidet and a few others are smirking at the con job it was to have MU play these games....I'd throw Cottingham in there as well based on the UWGB agreement and I'll throw Crean in there for buckling on the UWM deal.  No reason to play it.  Period.

I thought Calipari wrote that.

Agreed.  This is a no win situation for Marquette.  That scares me.
