Screw tough luck.  Liam was a project who played more hockey than basketball and Otule did not make it off Buzz's bench, just like he won't play Mboa and Williams.  Why recruit the players if you won't play them?

I really wouldn't worry about it, getting quality bigs is really easy.   We've had at least 2 or 3 in that last 30 years.  Ask Mr. Hayward, super easy to get....they're available in any catalog at your local JC Penney.

We have not shown that we will get blwon out by Wisco at all.  I don't know how they are going to keep DJO, Byucks, and Jimmy in front of them.  They will obviously kill us inside, but we are not playing an ACC team next week.  Its the slow Big Ten.

There is no doubt that Wisconsin will keep the score low.  Remember in last year's *win,* we only had 61 points - the second lowest of the year next to that terrible game in Tampa.

This isn't going to be played at Marquette's pace...and that really benefits Wisconsin.  Last year we had the experience to play a grind it out game even though it wasn't our style.  This year?  Ehhh....not too sure.

Liam was going to be a hell of a player. He would not have been a finished product this year offensively, but he would have been head and shoulders above ( no pun intended ) everyone currently ( LH not withstanding ) on the roster. His rebounding and defense alone would have been off the charts for this years team. Next season , he could have been in the discussion for All Big East.  He might have been the biggest diamond in the rough in college basketball.  A great kid and a huge loss. I wish you knew how big a loss this was.

agreed.  Liam would have been a very solid defensive cog this year if he were on the roster.  Unfortunately that isn't the case and we have to deal with what we have right now.  We will see if we can actually get some solid contributions from our height in the coming years.
