that this team will be better in March than it is now.  There was a post after the Michigan game that the team was peaking which I disagreed with.  There are some problems right now but we will get better by Feb/March.

Losing Cadougan and Otule hurt, no doubt.  My hope is that EWill, and Mbao will be playing more minutes in March than they can give now and that Maymon will be playing better in March than he is now.

My main concerns going into the rougher part of the non-con were:

  • Team Defense
  • Turnovers
  • Offense against zones

Despite today's game I feel pretty good about the zone offense and the turnovers.  We had too many turnovers today but it was only 15 and it appears to be an aberration.  Team Defense is where this team needs to get MUCH better.  Given that some key players are new to Div 1 I think that part of our game will improve between now and season's end.

Can't agree with the premise. Other than Maymon, I don't see any help on the horizon this season with personnel. Therefore, the basic offense and defense isn't going to change. In fact, by season's end, this team may be both physically and mentally beaten.

Time will tell.

I have to remind myself (and so should everyone else), that the 'cold sore' or 'fever blister' on my lip is Herpes Simplex I, and isnt going away anytime soon

Id hope the team is better- Buycks, DJO, Maymon should be better. Butler and Fulce should also be better. Acker and Cubi will be the same Id guess, or worse if their time decreases. Lazar will prob be somewhere around the same. Mbao and Williams youd think couldnt possibly get worse according to Buzz's terrible practices and not being up to speed = no PT theory. They must only have the ability to get better right?? Well Ive got no idea about those two

Yea the team will likely be drained, esp if Buzz continues down his 7-8 player path, but they should still be better due to individual improvements by many players. I just hope, and one would think that eventually buzz will expand his horizons a bit, but theres no guarantee when u look at how he handled Otule and Fulce, or cubillan for that matter, last season
