The Marquette Golden Eagles' 24-game home, non-conference winning streak came to a screeching halt on Saturday afternoon at the Bradley Center.

Short-circuiting on both ends of the court in the second half, MU fell, 77-73, to the North Carolina State Wolfpack in front of a stunned crowd of 15,803.

MU (6-2) shot just 34.5% over the final 20 minutes, but it was its defensive effort -- or lack thereof -- that wound up costing the Golden Eagles the game. They allowed the Wolfpack (6-1) to shoot a ridiculous 71.4% (20 for 28), including 4 for 4 from three-point range,
