Game 3: Grambling

Saturday's game with the Golden Eagles was expected to be a homecoming for Henry White, a former Milwaukee Washington basketball player who was beginning his first season with Grambling after transferring in from junior college.

Instead, MU will honor White's memory with a moment of silence prior to tipoff. White, who was beginning his junior season, passed away unexpectedly in late August after becoming ill during conditioning drills a few weeks earlier.

The 21-year-old White was a familiar face at the Al McGuire Center, having taken part in pickup basketball games there over the summer, so most of the Golden Eagles players knew him and had played with or against him at some point.
