Who does Crean think he is -- wearing a golf windshirt when he is not even a golfer.  Oh, and it gets worse.  He was wearing a polo shirt and I am almost certain he does not play polo either!!!  Will it never end?

Speaking of something that never ends -- I am curious -- if you eliminated all of your anti-Crean posts from your total number of posts would the number remaining even reach triple digits?

Usually that first class for a new coach is the best one (new broom)-----and Crean's first two classes aren't  as good as his first two classes at MU.

His third class is very good.  His first class was ranked higher than ours.  He had one guy returning last year....most new coaches come into a situation where there are at least a few serviceable talents, not the case at IU.

As I said earlier this year, they will finish 10th, maybe 9th.  Next year they are NIT, after that, they will be NCAA for years to come and will be just fine (maybe not good enough for IU fans, but they will be just fine).

Iowa is the worst team in the Big Ten by a wide margin.  IU is talented, but young.  IU would probably finish 14th in the Big East.

To make matters worse, the Terriers handled the Hoosiers despite shooting 29.3% from the floor. I don't care how you parse it, when a team with a top ten recruiting class, a Georgetown transfer (Rivers) and a soph big MU would kill for (Pritchard) loses under those circumstances it's not good. At least not for TC and his fans/apologists on this board.

Yea, but really what is the difference between $1.8 million and $2.3 million? That difference doesn't improve his lifestyle one bit------I guess if money is that important to him as a gauge of success he did the right thing, but in that case putting such a premium on money he losses site of the trees in the forest.

I tend to agree. After reading this I went to take a look at their schedule, and I see they beat Howard and some team that goes by the name of USC-Upstate. I know I don't follow college basketball quite to the geek degree I used to, but it took quite a few clicks to figure out who that is. Looks as if this is their third year in D1. Not necessarily saying anything with that, I just found it odd that I had never even heard of that team.

Certainly appears they are probably in for another long year, which would make next season very important for Coach Crean, before the natives start to become extremely restless.
