MU inks Reggie Smith

Things move quickly in the world of recruiting, something MU fans have learned since Buzz Williams became head coach of the Golden Eagles.

On Wednesday, the end of the early signing period, Williams said he didn't expect to add to his two-man recruiting class of Vander Blue and Jamail Jones.

On Thursday morning, word began to leak out that Williams indeed did bring another player into the fold: guard Reggie Smith of Thornwood High School in Harvey, Ill.

Well I'm conflicted, since Crean couldn't recruit a lick nor identify talent, then if they were after this kid and we got him....did we get a stiff?

;D

Let's be honest...this kid has no place in the Big eleven--far too exciting and explosive

Is Reggie Smith from Thornton or Thornwood?  The story indicates both.  Might want to double-check things like that.

Time will tell. Must be a high deflection type of player. Obviously he's recruiting so much better since departing because, you know, the IU name is such a 5 star stud magnet, except for bigmen.  ;D
