Hey guys,

1. quick question: If you get to the game early (as in an hour early), do the ushers let you go in the lower level to watch shootaround? I have been to plenty of games but never able to get there very early, So i'm not sure about the rules on this.

2. I found a website with a ton of games that get streamed to the computer, all free. I posted it in the other thread about streaming but its buried so I just want to make this information available if anyone wants it. On Monday and Tuesday they had all the espnu games plus streams from exhibition games around the country. If they were doing exhibition I thought the chances of the MU game being on the site were pretty good.

1. Typically, no.  You're not allowed in the lower bowl unless you have a ticket down there (or student ticket if there's still room), but I've been let in for a few minutes to go visit friends on occasion.  It all depends on how strict (or lenient) the particular usher is feeling that day.

2. I'd be very weary of those websites, especially if you have to download software to get the stream.  Nothing in life is "free."

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

All you have to download is be using a browser that is not internet explorer. I did not have to download, create any user name, or anything of the sort. Its basically a nationwide fan forum where people post links to the games. It has a similar layout to this infact. The links usually are justintv along with a couple others. sometimes scoreboard feeds. I used it the last two days with no trouble at all.

Thank you for the answer about the shootaround. I was hoping to be able to go down there. Maybe I'll just try my luck with a few ushers

I wouldn't worry about getting into the lower bowl.  Just look like you know where you are going. They generally leave you alone.  I haven't been asked to show my ticket in ages.

(Although that wouldn't apply for students.)

I doubt they would check if you had a few beers in your hand!

Thanks for all the advice guys. Unfortunately, I'm 19 currently a freshman in college. Was going to attend MU but it was just too much money for me. It will be just me and a friend (18) so I doubt I will be able to get beers!

But I'll try to get down there by just looking like I know where I am going. It's worth a shot anyways

For the non-conference games it shouldn't be a problem to get down to the lowers. I have upper deck tickets, and did last year as well, and I was able to sit in the lowers every non-conference game except Wisconsin last year without a problem. You can usually get down there for some of the less popular conference games as well if you scope out seats from the upper deck first.

I would love to sit down there, but thats not even my goal really.

I just wanted to get there early and go down there for warmups. I can deal with watching the game from the upper deck

The one game that shows as being shown live via the "Gametracker" is Presbyterian.  That may change however.

Should just go instead.    :D
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

We've had "lowers" in the family since I was born; however, my dad would always walk me down to the court before the game, and I still do so with my children when we get there early.  I'll never forget how BIG those guys looked to me at the age of 10!  Now I see my kids eyes light up the same way.  I've never had anyone say anything.

Then, for kicks, do the same thing at a Bucks game and you'll quickly see what they mean by an "NBA body!"

Enjoy the game!
