my MUScoop brothers and sisters:

Do you think there comes a time that #3 donates some serious cash back to the Warriors, kinda like Steve Smith and Carmelo have done?

I'm not saying he has to or even should, but we all know Wade is upstanding and charitable to boot. In other words, will your kids be playing someday in the DWade Rec Center? Count me as a "yes" vote.

well seeing as how we already have a very nice rec center named after the Helfaer's I doubt it.  Contribution possibly but a new rec center I would think would be down the list.  A refurbishment maybe a new one I doubt.

Judging Wade's track record, I think he contributes to MU in a way that will benefit the under privilaged.

This is true, and I don't think this is a bad thing. I would rather see an underprivileged kid get a quality education at MU than see me and my friends play basketball on Saturday afternoon at the DWade Center.

I could see an underprivileged geared donation like scholarships or something.. I could also see an athletics donation for something like a valley fields improvement.

During the halftime of the game there was talk on the chat forum that him sponsoring a dorm replacement for McCormick would be cool - hard to see it happening for some reason though.

Man what I would give to live in room 333 of Dwyane Wade Hall. Too bad MU's campus isn't a little more southwest in Milwaukee. The address could be 333 N. 33rd St.!

A couple of things.  First, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Wade already is supporting the university very generously.  Second, if he is -- or if he does so in the future -- it wouldn't surprise me if you or I never hear a word about it.  Some people don't feel the need to have their name etched on the side of a building in return for their generousity.  I may be wrong, but Wade strikes me as that sort of a person.
