Man, Chapman gave Crean his all for Marquette.  That sucks Crean didn't take him.  Grimm actually played his heart out for Crean as well.  Whatever.

If he brought anyone other then the Seniors, the east coast media wouldn't bother getting one quote from a MU player. They have no clue about our kids unlike four years ago when they had no idea Marquette was even in the conference so it didn't matter who attended the media event. Hell, we could've sent that abortion station wagon guy.

You're right. It didn't matter who attended...which is why Chapman and Grimm should have been rewarded after putting up with 4 years of crap. It was a bush league move by a bush league person.

Maybe even more than the great recruiting he's shown, Buzz has shown me he cares about his team and his players and has good judgement. For him to bring David and Maurice, who may not get a ton of PT this season, is a phenomenal gesture by this guy...and the right thing to do.

Hope those guys have a great time...they deserve it!

My guess is it also occurred to Buzz that these are the three players who could probably most afford to miss a couple practices.  Unless of course he brought a guy in a boot and a guy on crutches, in which case they would have to wear a funny outfit to get any attention.
