Let's face it, yes.

There are a handful of polarizing topics on this board.

- Cubs vs Brewers (contained in the "pissing match")
- Brett Favre/NFC North (mostly contained in the "pissing match")
- Nickname debate (doesn't come up that often anymore, but most people are entrenched in their position)
- Tom Crean (comes up almost daily in several threads... By far the top debate on scoop. Some people appear to hate him, others appear to love him. Topics that are completely unrelated to him turn into TC debates.)


EXAMPLE:

I already know you don't like the TC. But, you still take shots at him. Why? I have no idea. He's not MU's coach.

You know I liked TC (as a coach), but I still feel compelled to respond to your posts. Why? I have no idea.

So yea, we are all that predictable.

Actually, you couldn't be more wrong.

TC has his own midnight madness to do, which inevitably he'll do something wacky and over-the-top (dune buggies? Space shuttle? choreographed dance?)

The next day, somebody on this board will post a link to the video and call Crean a douche and say something about how "Crean shouldn't have to use such tactics because "it's Indiana, Indiana"". The IU fans however, will love the energy of the event.

You will comment on the video with some sort of shot at TC and a veiled reference to Erin Andrew's thong. PRN will come in with something even more bitter.

I will say something about how you guys should get over it, TC is gone (I'll probably type too much).  And then the Lens will say something about how I talk about TC too much and I should get over it.

Then it will degenerate into something about KO and TC. KO was a full time ass, so it's ok, and Crean is fake, so it's not ok... blah blah blah Marquette84.... blah blah blah... Chico's.... blah blah blah... "Chico's is a name dropper".... blah blah blah... Marquette84 types too much.... blah blah blah... Lenny's critiques Marquette84... blah blah blah I type a post that is too long... blah blah blah... Hard's Alumni calls me pompous... blah blah blah... Hayward says something about Buzz ruling the world... blah blah blah...thread ends.
