Former owner of Hegarty's dies
« on: August 26, 2009, 07:30:15 PM »
from the other board.....Quinn, Paul V August 22, 2009, aged 55....former owner of Hegarty's Bar.     Go over there to read the rest.     Having lived in (Carpenter) Tower for two years, I spent an awful lot of time at Hegarty's, including closing it every Sunday night for a semester with the rest of my floor.  Loved that bar.  Good guy.     RIP.

Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

That's too bad.  I remember him being severely overweight back in the day.  I'm shocked he was only 55 years old, I would have said 65 at least.  I don't know if he was ever able to get his weight under control, but I suspect that might have factored into this.

RIP
